Margaret has been making skincare and holistic wellness items since 2012.
She worked at Whole Foods in the Whole Body department in college and learned about the toxic ingredients in most skincare and bodycare products. She realized these ingredients were responsible for hormone imbalance, thyroid dysregulation, and had even been named as carcinogens. So she embarked on a journey of creating her own skincare that started with a beloved jojoba face oil which eventually grew into a full skincare line. In 2019, she became a certified Ayurveda counselor and an herbalist in 2021 so she could help people address the internal factors that promote radiant, vibrant skin.
Margaret is also a Holistic Perinatal Health Consultant and works with women in the preconception through postpartum continuum to cultivate more robust health, vitality, and overall juiciness.
She loves gardening, hiking, camping, playing dominos with friends, and experimenting in the kitchen. She and her husband live in Wheat Ridge, CO with their 2 dogs, 6 chickens, and a bunch of pollinator visitors.
Every ingredient is considered when being added to our products. We source from growers committed to sustainable and ethical practices that consider the planet and the people first. Our founder, Margaret, grows many of the ingredients herself in her own backyard.
Pure Essential Oils
We don’t use many essential oils due to the mostly unsustainable practices required to produce them. However, the ones we do use are from sources using ethical harvesting and regenerative principles.
Herbs & Spices
We use the highest quality herbs and spices to make our products.
Flowers
From rose to calendula, lavender to chamomile, we integrate the beauty and healing potential of flowers into everything we make.
Clay & Flours
Our skin cleansers use clay and flour to create a slightly grainy texture that gently exfoliates without stripping your skin’s precious protective layer.
Oils & Butters
Oil in Sanskrit is sneha which also translates as love. We believe in the deep nourishment that oils (and all fats) deliver not only on the physical level but also the mental, emotional, and spiritual levels as well.
Beeswax & Honey
We source beeswax from the largest woman-owned apiary in Colorado, Beth’s Bees to ensure what we produce has a ripple effect in our local landscape.
